Birchmount Hospital CT Scanner
Renovation of an occupied area for a new CT scanner, adjacent to an existing CT scanner and Emergency Room. The scope included demolition of two ultrasound rooms and change rooms, to create an enlarged room for a new CT scanner, enlarged control room, and vestibule. IPAC Level IV was provided. During the project, the renovation of a nearby x-ray room was added to the scope of work. This required demolition of the existing, and provision of new structural support in the ceiling for the new equipment.
