Mount Sinai Closed Loop Pharmacy

Phased renovation of the existing, fully-functioning pharmacy, to create a new Closed-Loop Pharmacy to accommodate two dispensing robots. Work was completed on the 18^th floor, with active clinical space adjacent, above and below the site. Work included the creation of the following rooms: Student Workroom, Pharmacist workroom, CIVA staging area, Clinical Trials area, Nicu Oral Dose area, Floorstock replenishment, Drug distribution room, Receiving Room, Negative pressure room, Barcoding room, Non-sterile compounding room, Staff changeroom and offices.

Full hoarding and sealing was provided through the AIRE Guardian Shield system which meets ICRA Class 4 Level, and is compliant with CSA. In addition, independently sealed 6mm poly was installed to ease cleaning after each construction phase.
