Don Montgomery Community Space
Conversion of a former rifle facility into a multi-purpose youth center. Extensive shoring was required to remove portions of the existing wall. Large angular framed glass windows were installed with composite panels above. Angular shaped fin walls and glazed partitions divided the space, in addition to a glazed folding partition. Bamboo flooring was installed in the lounges and workroom, and sprung flooring in the multi-purpose rooms. This project was the recipient of a Best of Year Project Design honouree by Interior Design magazine, as well as a 2011 Design Exchange award.
